Court Reports

I am an Addiction Practitioners Association of Aotearoa New Zealand (DAPAANZ) registered Addiction Practitioner and Accredited Clinical Supervisor. I hold a Bachelor of Addictions, and worked at Wellington District Court as the sole Alcohol and Other Drug (AOD) assessor from February 2017 to January 2024. Before that, I worked in residential treatment centres. Due to this education and professional experiences, I have extensive knowledge of applications of AOD reports and national treatment options, and pathways to accessing them either from prison, on bail, or as part of sentencing plans.

I author Comprehensive Alcohol and Other Drug and/or Problem Gambling Assessments for people in the criminal justice system and/or Family Court.
